Here’s the tentative schedule (may be adjusted based on the weather):

Friday, Nov. 1

2 p.m.: Check into your room and make yourself at home

5 p.m.: Introduction to Wild Trails Farm

6 p.m.: Dinner by Heritage Deli & Bakery (vegan and gluten-free options are available for all meals)

7:15 p.m.: Restorative yoga and guided meditation (yoga nidra) with Jo Bregnard Begin your introspective weekend with a gentle movement sequence, then enjoy a soothing guided meditation, crafted to set you up for a weekend of learning how to rest deeply.

Saturday, Nov. 2

Self-serve continental breakfast, with Vermont Coffee Company coffee and a variety of teas

9 a.m.: Welcome session Get to know our staff and your fellow participants, learn about Wild Trails’ retreat philosophy and share what you’re looking to get out of the weekend.

10 a.m.: Guided trail walk with Sky Otter. Embrace the beauty of fall in Vermont as spiritual ecology guide Sky leads you through our picturesque network of paths. Spanning over 20 kilometers, these routes traverse a captivating landscape of rolling hills, lush forests and a wealth of natural features. There are trails for all fitness levels, so everyone can get some exercise and discover the interesting history hidden within Wild Trails’ 472 acres.

Noon: Lunch

2 p.m.:  Sound bath with Priscilla Gale Embark on a powerful journey during this special 60-minute session. A retired opera singer and longtime voice teacher, Priscilla will introduce you to these unique instruments. Then their soothing vibrations will set the stage for you to experience deep relaxation, emotional release, and enhanced self-awareness. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and share about your experience if you wish.

3:30 p.m.: Free time for optional individual retreat services or relaxation

6 p.m.: Dinner

Sunday, Nov. 3

Self-serve continental breakfast, with Vermont Coffee Company coffee and a variety of teas

9:30 a.m.: Finding refuge within with Susan Langley. Learn the basics of energy work with Susan, a longtime practitioner of various healing methods. Susan will share a practical daily routine, as well as useful techniques for finding comfort within yourself. 

11:15 a.m.: Lunch

12:30 p.m.: Human Design with Lori Lisai. Human Design is a system for better knowing yourself, calling on the wisdom of systems like the Chakras, the Chinese I-Ching, the Kabbalah, and Western Astrology and combining them with the science of genetics. Lori will teach you what your personal design has to say about honoring your own needs while balancing the holiday buzz. She’ll provide you with a printed chart so you know how your energy works in relationship to your loved ones, how to prioritize during busy times and what will nourish you most in this time of going inward. Lori will also provide resources for you to continue your self-exploration on your own.

2 p.m.: Closing session Gather together formally as a group to share connections made over the weekend, capturing the tools and resources you’ll bring home to support your writing going forward.

3:30 p.m.: Free time for optional individual retreat services or relaxation

6 p.m.: Dinner

Monday, Nov. 4

Self-serve continental breakfast, with Vermont Coffee Company coffee and a variety of teas before you check out at 11 a.m., feeling inspired by the natural beauty of Wild Trails Farm and prepared for the months ahead--whatever they have in store for you.

Pricing for this weekend includes three nights of lodging as well as all group sessions and meals noted above. All other activities are on your own, including any additional individual retreat services (optional). Rates for this all-inclusive long weekend range from $595 for space in a two-person shared room with a shared bath (additional twin beds and privacy screens available), to $1855 for a double-occupancy room with a private bath (ideal for a couple).
